- Temperature: The temperature in Bali all year around is approximately 27˚C.
- Currency: The Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
- Busiest Airports: from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) or Don Muang International Airport (DMK) / Arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS)
- Major Airlines: Qatar Airways, Thai Airways International, Transaero Airlines, ValuAir etc. Singapore Airlines has direct flights from Thailand to Denpasar
- Tourist Attractions: Denpasar is known for its Temples, Beaches, Amusement parks and monuments like Taman Ayun Temple, the Pakerisan watershed and Batukaru.
- Language: The island has it's own language: Balinese. Bahasa Indonesia, which is the Indonesian language, is also widely spoken. Tourists can also speak English.

- Health: Information about the (mandatory) vaccinations change constantly. For current information please check your local health services online or consult your GP surgery.
