What to do in Dublin
Temple Bar Area
The famous Temple Bar area is a good place to start. After a Guinness or two and a chat with a local, you will understand what all the fuss is about. Not only are these cobbled streets teaming with life at all times of day and night but there are art galleries, many stylish shops and the Irish Film Institute. Nearby is Meeting House Square which offers free concerts throughout the summer.
For more excitement, visit Grafton Street for the street performers, St Stephen’s Green for yet more free open-air concerts, the National Museum for Egyptian mummies, and the Covered Market for antique jewellery and second-hand clothes.
Major Tourism Spots: Kilmainham Gaol, Glasnevin Cemetery Museum, Walking Tours, Guinness Storehouse, The Little Museum of Dublin, etc.
