Visit the Cathedral
Known by locals as the "Duomo", this cathedral is located in the center of Milan. It took around 500 years to complete and has over 3500 statues all over. You can take an elevator to the roof and on a clear day you can see the whole city and even the Alps! The city's symbol 'Madoninna' is also perched atop the roof, in all her shining glory.
Go shopping in the Brera District
If you want to see a very trendy part of town, go shopping and even have dinner, you need to go to the Brera District of Milan. The area is located North of the Duomo and doesnt take too long to get to by foot. What some people do is either visit the Cathedral or the Castle nearby and then relax afterwards in the Brera District.
